.Well the plan didn't come to fruition yet, Turbo, might give the old chinese one a go.Phoned Mitutoyo, and a repair for vernier was around £220 if they had a spare for it, or around the £300 mark for part ex serviced used one.
I have a plan, It might come to fruition.
