After my No. 3 son decided my rebuilt Fobco would have a more interesting life in his workshop, I struggled on with a little Nutool I bought at B&Q in Carmarthen, circa 1982.
When the quill return spring, kindly donated by @DAPPH, broke, I finally started looking for a replacement.
The value of Meddings, Fobco et al all seem to be fully recognised around here, so I settled for a 1988 model Clarke 12 speed with a replacement chuck:

standard but new foam, new covers, it was a 2 and a half hour drive and only discomfort was cramp in the right foot,

I do love a collective agricultural auction - unfortunately most around here have been cancelled due to stuff getting nicked! So when one popped up locally, badly advertised, it had to be worth a look...
These decided to come home with me..
Littlle 2 ton Arbor press
Suitcase genny - only 800w but I'm preparing for winter...
And towards the end of the day a bigger genny - Pramac E3250 that was too much of a bargain to miss due to the shot rubber mountings I suspect. I checked and spares are available, so risk reduced - and the Honda engine started fine.
They even had petrol!!
I did however resist (Painfully) the 56 plate L322 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 - MOT'd two weeks ago, and the only advisory on the past three were for 2 slightly worn tyres - but it did have a slightly damaged front wing - only £700!!

I'd send that back. The door mirrors aren't even the same size!
Looks like a nice example. I remember trying to get my dad to buy one when they were kicking around for peanuts though yours looks much less 'flogged to death'

The are feet for walking sticks, I plan to use them to convert a couple of my late mother’s adjustable sticks to bonnet props. Cut the handles off and put one of these on the cut end.
