Can't say I've ever broken one (yet), but if it starts getting sketchy I swap to a different tool, as you can really damage yourself if they let go.

I broke a brand new Snap On breaker bar once , it was so new the van hadn’t even got out of the car park!

Missing the air filter + cover, so I guess someone has been tinkering. Pull cord is snapped. Deck is in good condition. 2008.

I need to get some fuel to give it a go.

I cleaned the spark plug, drained the carb, added fresh fuel, and improvised a temporary filter.

It now starts on first pull.

Just mowed the lawn. Been using a petrol strimmer for the past two years. Very happy with the upgrade!

Slightly less yay is that it's an ill health retirement after a heart attack last year. It's taking a while but hopefully going in the right direction.

When I first started using Mac's I had bootcamp and later Parallels but found I used them less and less so not an issue for me. I still have a desktop PC and laptop just in case I need to use something that is historical but not needed to do soon over 2 years.

I'm an accountant but all my software is changed to Mac based or online years ago. I can see the issue for people who use old software for programming machines etc but not an issue for me. Parallels still runs Windows on M series chips and you can do that within a Windows window or just open the program whilst in Mac OS.

For me it would be running CAD, CFD and Process Simulation software, all very power hungry so the overhead of a virtual machine (combined with the fact the software is all heavily optimised for x86 or x64 instruction sets) kills the benefit of how powerful the M series processors are.

I already have a selection of ancient laptops that I keep running for programming PLC's, including a Toshiba running Windows 3.1 with a clip on trackball.

They're still at work, I've got nothing to do at the moment so I've pulled out the rack and straightend enough for a bench top.

Was working in a bank as it was closing permanently and this was heading for the skip , Ive had 5 of these with different draw sizes now plus numerous chairs filing cabinets etc all destined to be binned thats recycling for you....

Bro had two grabbers in just over a year when he was 54 .... a triple by-pass a few months after the last one and he got his birth certificate extended by 22 years . He did a massive change in diet , exercise & no more smoking or going with people who smoked & stopped being a couch potato .

That's the annoying thing, I don't smoke, have eaten a 99% meat free diet for the last 6 years, cycle to work & to get about town or walk plus work as a postie and have a 'hide behind a lampost' build. My angiogram was clear.
