I hadn't planned to acquire any more petrol cans, but when one pops up on FB marketplace at below market value and only a couple of miles away......
Contacted the seller to arrange collection, but once we had worked out locations he said said he would drop it off as he had to pass my house to visit a relative which was nice of him.
It's nothing special so I plan to paint it and put a logo on to match one of my engines, will make nice "set dressing" when showing it.

NSK TI-MAX 40. I'll probably replace the skanky cable on it, it's been stained yellow by years of spit and tooth dust.
It fits the same handpieces as the first motor:
And this time, I've got the proper controller too.
24VAC input is a bit of a pain, hopefully I can find a transformer. The wires powering the motor are concerningly thin too, for it to have any real power it must run at 48V or 60V which will make replacing this controller with a custom one (IE one which will run both of my motors) a bit awkward. I really need a decent foot pedal next.

The delivery was delayed by carp weather and carp couriers, but the Creality Ferret Pro 3D scanner eventually turned up.
Comes in a nice case.
Looks to be in one piece but no time to play at the moment, work keeps getting in the way!
The top bit is the scanner, the brick in the middle is the wireless bridge and the rest is the tripod.
EDIT - the tripod handle at the bottom is also the battery, so shoved it on charge so I can play later.

Nice, be interesting to see the results
Keep hearing good and bad over the ferret so first hand experience would be good.
The otter is supposed the be good also and use the raptor at work and is excellent.
Just make sure that your computer is preferably better than the minimum operating as scanning frames per second does matter quite a bit.
Evo 185mm circular saw and tracks.
Finally killed off my cheap black and decker circular saw so thought I'd upgrade. Couldn't justify the price of some of the proper plunge saws.
I like the idea it can cut different materials with the blades on offer. Seemed to leave a very nice finish on some test cuts this afternoon.
