I asked as they looked like the RFD trackers we use, that's all.
Bought a Japanese saw at the woodworking show at Harrogate a few weeks ago but used it today for the first time and I'm genuinely amazed by how easy it is to use.
In fact it's so easier and more efficient to use that I can see me replacing all my "conventional" saws with these when the time comes.

Just had a RM delivery and the postie pointed out an item left on the step by them yesterday, slightly too big for a letterbox. It is soaking wet, ruined photos. They rarely ring the bell and never put a card through 
Another aquisition was an amazon tool bag.
Its a bit small to carry everything, but will fit grinders, ratchet, drill if they are upright, plus sockets, hammers, bolts... The strap seems decent enough and can hold 10-15kg at a guess.
I have ordered a second one.

Today I received a parcel from an extremely generous member of this forum (one half of the inspiration for my post in the things that impress me thread yesterday):
My heat treatment oven build just got a lot more complicated, but also a lot more of an interesting challenge.
I'll try to get another post done on that thread over the next few days with a bit more in the way of details of how the control cabinet is (hopefully) going to work and also an explanation of what all the stuff in that photo is/does. I'm also going to try to document how it would be done without a generous benefactor (i.e. with cheap control gear from amazon!) so that the thread can be as informative as possible; we'll see how that all works out!
