I received this a while ago, but due to courier damage and the item "Rattling on Arrival", I didn't think its was fair to post until it was sorted, the story.....

I ordered this item a while ago from Stamos Welding Germany/Poland via Amazon, delivery by UPS.

"Useless Parcel Service" managed to loose it for over a week, even though they scanned it at each depot and posted it on their tracking site.....

Anyway after lots of phoning the courier, after "Sortational Problems", read "We couldn't be Ar*e*"
The package/goods arrived damaged, a signed for delivery that didn't get signed for just dumped on my doorstep, nobody indoors to sign for it, for all the world to see, wonder it didn't go walkies.....

UPS tried to obtain the damage package back from me, without authority from the seller, I sure as hell wasn't giving it back until I knew what was happening about a replacement...

The package arrived damaged, after photo's and a video were sent to the retailer and UPS, the retailer offer me a 20% discount to keep the goods, I asked if opening the case would cause guarantee problem for inspection/warranty purposes, I removed the outer cover to find the bolt/nut/washer rattling around in the bottom of the item, replaced the bolt/connections in the red circle, crossed fingers and tried the cutter.

This 125 amp plasma cutter is worlds apart from my current 50 amp one, now as to how long this plasma cutter works before letting the magic smoke out who knows, being as it is of cheap Far Eastern Extraction, BUT "Stamos Welding Supply" of Germany/Poland are a great company, I was offered the option of a discount/refund or replacement machine, that was my choice...

Stamos are a great company, seem to have solid back up, good customer service communications with great prices, as for UPS......

The unit appears to be well built and put together apart from maybe, a loose bolt/nut....I checked the other connections.

I did have to replace the torch outer sleeve but that was UPS's fault for damaging the machine, overall I'm happy with the cutter and the customer service.

Yep, a 20% discount promptly paid once I agreed via Amazon, it requires an external compressor and a 3 phase supply.......

It was £22 odd using the trade card but I had a £5 Motoring Club voucher which made it £19

Took some stuff to the skip, and on the small electrical waste skip I found these…

3 mitisibishi plc, that look completely unused (completely clean and all the terminal screws are still tight, so they’ve never had anything in them) and a hmi which also looks new save for a few marks on the screen.

There was also a vfd in there, I couldn’t quite reach that but I’m kicking myself for not trying harder now!

Wow thanks, yeah if you don’t have any use for it - I think, but not 100% sure the keypad was for the earlier generation ones but I could probably make use of it

A couple of trays of eggs from the local egg producers for £3, cant sell them to the public or the public dont want them as they are the wrong shape/wrong colour or dirty
The whole food thing in this country is just f**ked up with good food going to waste

Yup, its a shame what goes to waste.

A neighbour over the road has truly free-range chickens and I look after them once in a while so get to take the eggs away; they also last longer remaining 'au naturale' and unwashed as the natural bloom the egg has when laid means they are naturally sealed and last longer.

Dpd delivered this quite unexpectedly this afternoon about 5pm, on a Sunday. Ordered early Thurs so I was expecting it Friday.

20m climbing rope for smaller trees when the 40m is far too long and the 10m too short. Its nice to not have a lot of spare rope on the ground.

The small cord hasnt got a purpose yet. The 5M rope will be chopped in half and spliced to make another cambium saver - a large and small ring spliced one on each end.
