China do not mess around. They packed and shipped the item before the varnish was even dry

I hope it works ok and speed up setting the rotary table up on the mill.
For the small stuff I'm likely to do with this lathe it will be ok. Last winter on a freezing day, the motor overloaded and started to smoke. The grease in the lathe and pillar block bearings were too cold to turn the spindle. Live and learn,I fitted a 1hp. Sometimes think a 1.5hp would have been better![]()
That's rather cool
You should've seen the one that got away! It had to be a V8 at least!Quick clean and its up, etsy here we come!

Use be spensive as it can stick to a wooden surface, top bit of kitFelt like I needed a mag drill for a bunch of 12mm holes in 8mm plate so started looking at cheap small mag drill options, then decided I'm going to need something that can do M16 tapping for a job later this year and you know how it is, ended up with something not so small or cheap.

I have a policy, that nothing in this world is too good for me not to use. Life is too short not to enjoy what you can.A very generous gift from a good friend who knows me too well.
If you know, you know. I don't think these will be getting used, be a crime to get them dirty.
