Following on from @JOEPRO 's posting regarding his Galaxy watch I stuck my neck out and asked for my birthday prezzie to be delivered early and this arrived today, it is the Galaxy5 Pro (big battery) so far I have managed to waste spend the afternoon dicking around with it, too many features to get the all sorted in one go:

Cracking haul from auction £134 including fees, 8inch 4 jaw on D1-3, unfortunately i think faceplate and steadies will be a touch to big for my colchester chipmaster, 6inch rotary table with a dividing plate and quite a big boring head, not used one before.

A load of other trinkets on stillage wasn’t worthy of pics, shackles karabiners etc, and rubber bushes.

A few of they other bits, the cutters and tools i didnt realise as they were bagged up. M16 tap M2 tap, auto centre pop. Really happy with that, i think steadies are from Harrison M300 looking on the net.

Not exactly welding-related but acquired today.They should keep me going for a couple of weeks.

I picked up two packs and, when I went pay I was told that they espired today so I coukd have them for £1 each (shelf price £2.69).

"Hang on", I said, "I'll check the others."
There were 9, all expiring today. They sold me the lot for £8. So 89p per pack. That'll do nicely, thank you

^ One of the biggest improvements I had in my welding was switching from an old static helmet to an auto-darkening one, no more getting a perfect weld but an inch away from where it was needed because I couldn't see until the arc struck.

The next biggest improvement was, after using it for about ten years, I got a new plastic shield for the front to get rid of all the scratches and I could actually see through it again.

Been looking round at what compressor to get, only really need something small. Was due to look at an old cheap Broomwade local on ebay but he pulled out last minute and removed it from ebay for some reason.

I can't stand the noise of the direct drive things so that conveniently ruled out a load of choices. There was an old ingersoll rand vertical one locally but it needed a bit of work, the difficulty of moving it and it taking up too much space for the occasional use I needed it for meant it was a no go although it probably would have lasted forever.

Ended up getting this from SGS, 24ltr, nice and quiet, it just purrs away in the corner. Should be more than adequate for what I need and at £102 delivered to the door next day you cannot grumble.

I've got my money back from the seller of k760 cylinder advertised as for k770 , plus they wanted me to keep it no need to ship it back to them.
I didn't ask my money back , I've just said them it wasn't compatible with the K770 and asked if there was something I could do .
Anyway with the money I've got back, what I could buy?
Other machining stuff.
So a die stock , which doesn't show any brand on it in the pictures but it has the same shape and design of my Dormer one , but it's bigger.
My Dormer is a 40mm and rated for M14 .
A Wexo M20,an Emuge M16, and Strack M18 dies.
All for about 40 euros which roughly the cost of any of single items in the picture

I discovered a new fetishism, I was buying practically only grinders, and now I'm collecting machining stuff .
They take less space, plus are easier to hide from my family eyesight ,so they don't ask me if I already had one.
