Today I acquired...........

Was having a look around, an antique shop, with the wife earlier, when I spotted this adjustable. First thought was, there is an old Bacho. Picked it up to discover it was a , Britool. Also marked, made in Sweden. I am assuming, Bacho, made them for Britool

Went to My friends to look at a Bridgeport he has offered me and hes clearing hi workshop so said take these before the go in the metal skip ! He's all CNC now so hasnt used them in years



the big one is 18" the small one is 12" niether have been used for many years but move freely, dividing head nothing special but ive wanted one for a while

the big one is probably going to end up as a rotary welding table

he also said dive in the skip for any metal you want so i was a blur at that point !

Not today, last week I recieved a letter from the Coucil Planning Dept, some lovely person has made a complaint that I'm using my lockup to run a business

Had it for 4yrs, have spent many many hours sorting out the garage and land so it's useable but at best only 20hrs doing non site improvement work

Site meeting with the Planning Officer tomorrow to discuss

We have an arrangement like most good mates do not counting but we jobs and favours for each other , hes taken over the running of the business Its all CNC of aluminium now so this stuff is peanuts to him now it would just gone in metal skip I rescued all the round bar from the skip but ran out of time and it was filling up he just dosent use it anymore. Went back the following day and he'd had it collected im back down this afternoon for a cuppa just in case

I think that one of Johnny's has a 2-sided plate. might even have a compounder.

I got one quite similar to it last week given to me, without the chuck. I couldn't use one that size so I passed it on, that had a 2-sided plate too.

American 120V christmas lighting. I don't like the options we have in stores here in europe, except some of the vintage stuff. I really like the classic american C9 colored bulbs though.

These are actual incandescent lights, didn't think they made those anymore. I will run these off my variac so the voltage difference isn't a problem. I will see how low voltage I can run them on, don't like too strong christmas lights either, they should be quite mild, but colored. I swear ours is the only house with colors, everyone else goes plain white.

I'll probably replace them over time with LEDs as they break.

Went to screwfix for cable ties as couldn't find any packets I had already. May as well drop kick these behind a rack now as soon as I get home. I was waiting for a couple minutes which was fine. They gave me a handful of car air fresheners for the "long wait" which was very nice of them but...

At my local Sportsmen's Club over seas, we fitted LED light's in empty shotgun shell cases for a holiday theme.
Simply knock out the spent primer and pop in the led light along the string.
