Took a while to get around to it, had some free time today.
Looks pretty simple in principle to me. Water intake on bottom, four pistons of some kind that build pressure, the high pressure output is on the top. It doesn't seem to be going from one piston to another for sequentially higher pressures, but to all four at once and then to a combined high pressure side.
Brass construction, can't see no cracks.
Things I don't get about this construction:
-The two adjustable knobs, they are not connected to anything, it's just two old hoses that go around the frame and end up a the back connected to nothing. Behind the control panel in between the two knobs there is a T-fitting that goes downwards to a hose, which is connected to nothing. I think maybe it's some kind of system for taking detergent and mixing it into the output. But it's probably missing some parts. I also don't understand why that needs two valves like that.
-The oil knob, what the heck does it do? I know the housing is likely oiled for obvious reasons, but I dunno what this thing is for.

At first I thought "professional grade, lightly used" at a low price would be the way to go:
The three linked specimens were the ones I had bought, the three loose specimens had been added by the seller without comment - when packing the goods it must have occurred to him that there is not much life left in these things ...
10mm shank would be ideal, but .... this will probably be nothing ...
Next, a buddy of mine got a bit of old product from GDR stocks, still sealed, so to speak NOS.
Ok, why not? Diamonds don't go bad ...
Note the form designation for this "test certificate" down at the edge - there everything had its order.
0.18 carats are not exactly huge, 6x20mm as a shank is also not ideal ... I'll build a holder and have a look ...
Of course, I was at the same time further on the search and stumbled across a GDR diamond myself - but a good bit larger and with even more documentation.
Almost like the "real" trade in diamonds, even in the environment of these technical necessities, it seems that people become very strange in dealing with them - better just a few questions, half-whispered emails, ...
... at times I felt reminded of "Count Number" from Sesame Street - maybe also because someone who sells diamonds from the GDR economy today couldn't possibly have got hold of them legally ....
This one also came with the inspection paper with the correct specimen number, but additionally with the then accompanying accounting document.
It took some effort to make the seller - after all someone who had lived in the GDR and continues to live on its territory, but here believed to have made the big catch - clear that the sum is a fictitious clearing value in a fictitious, no longer existing currency that wasn't even worth much when it still existed.
With this size you should be able to work well, the conical MT1 shaft is a bit annoying, but a holder for it I will already bring about.

(Yesterday) Santa brought me this.
I'd been ogling them since seeing @Robbie260 great review on the Facom set.
I was torn over which one to put on my Christmas List, but I like the satin finish on the Toptul sockets, and the case is only a couple of mm wider but they manage to squeeze in a few extra bits.
I swapped out one of the spare PZ bits and the 6mm for a 7mm socket. Think this will be incredibly handy.
Everything is is pretty much identical, I assume Toptul is the OEM for these as with most Facom stuff, with possibly HiFive/Reverse Gear for the mechanism. Lovely little set.
Only slight disappointment which I didn't realise until I got it, is the inclusion of a standard 1/4" - 1/4" hex to square adaptor instead of the low profile one in the Facom set.
I might have to see about sourcing one of those separately, but perhaps not at the price Facom currently want!

Yep,
and here's why:
I actually found a small surface grinder a while back, just like I was looking for.
Here at a use last night with my big son to flatten two thrust bearing races by 0.375mm each.
(The flash rust, which had overtaken you before us with the sudden rise in temperature, has also fully caught our cold workshop, here only the most necessary cleaned).
The sheet metal strip is only there to reinforce the magnetic holding force,
the races with their small bearing surface could otherwise be displaced during grinding.
Here is the purpose of the exercise:
Since I had already purchased a new top slide casting for the ML7 a long time ago and had the height reduced by 2.5mm in order to be able to use the turning steels and insert holders at least up to 12mm / 1/2" without milling off the shank, the hand lever of the Multifix basic holder was protruding into the working area, I had to change that.
The lever was exactly on the opposite side, the central retaining bolt has M10x1.5, so 0.75mm had to go down, makes 0.375mm per race - I would not have known how without a surface grinder to manage - even SWMBO had to concede (if anyone still needs arguments ...
).I notice that I have hardly made any pictures of the machine, here are the offer pictures:
The home transport of the machine also took place in low light:
Now, of course, comes the usual: Get practice, increase precision, build suction, ....
I can say that I am pretty happy

That is an unusual washer indeed! With 18l/m at 120 bar output it will have quite a kick, I'm guessing that it is 3 phase? Norcar are still in business, e-mail them a few of these photos & they will likely send you some info about it including a pts list, if you ask nicely.
Looks like you have 2 pairs of horizontally opposed pistons, possibly cam driven off a common crank though could be conrod driven too. Kew had a similar setup on one of their early pumps though theirs was horizontally opposed like a beetle engine.
The oil 'knob' could be a dipstick into the crankcase.
Of the 2 adjusters, one is likely for adding detergent, either by a venturi system on the output or into the inlet. The other adjuster might be a pressure control, maybe bleeding some of the hp output back into the inlet side.
Its entirely possible that Norcar don't make the washer at all, just re-badge it. They seem to build construction machinery, not washers!
Maybe @carbon has seen one those pumps before?
I bought an opus BT-C3100, a similar charger to yours & it has been a godsend to process & sort some old 18650's plus nimh cells.
I made up a false battery from wooden dowel, added a pair of jumper cables so I can use it to test & recharge individual battery cells without having to strip the battery apart. Useful for diagnosing a faulty battery which can be often down to 1 weak cell.

The fitting circled won’t be an original as it looks like a low pressure galvanised one. This could have originally been a low pressure detergent injector with the rate controlled by the two controls on the panel. If the pipes connected to these are loose in the rear it may be that they have fitted two controls to allow quickly changing from one detergent to another without swapping barrels or changing pipes. Turn one off and turn the other one on when different detergent is required. The oil fitting on the front may be a vent if the fill plug isn’t vented

Turbo, yes it's a 3-phase machine. It supposedly leaks near the pistons, I am hoping it's just a gasket or o-ring that can be replaced. Haven't yet opened it up.
I read up on how injectors for pressure washers worked and it's based on the venturi effect, but robs some power. At any rate I don't think I will be bothering to put it back. Seems easier to get a foam spraying gun attachment. It makes sense if that part isn't factory I guess, since the inlet and outlet should be hooked up to the two holes in the frame, guess with the modification that was no longer possible.
I assume pressure washer hoses and "guns" are built around some standards.

A single wire hose should be rated to at least 210bar for use with this. Don’t use anything smaller than 5/16” dn8 hose. Make sure any trigger/handgun is rated above 230bar as well

This is the closest I got till now, Brad, thank you,
because I still don't know who made it - mine seems to be the granddad of that BEMA and they are about 20min from here
and mine was significantly cheaper ...There I should find out more ...
