be able to trouble shoot one of the others that died suddenly by swopping boards to narrow it down now

Been given these by a customer whom I did a favour for,not my stile,way too good to scrap they’re galvanised as well,guess made less than 20 years ago,place I collected them from was on a steep bank,these sat on a retaining wall.

it's a dam shame though when I got there the back door of the shoggy would not open. Ah an easy fettle......nope as the panel would not come of and broke it in the process. So a good deal goes bad.

looking at that you needed to remove the top light gray panel before removing the bottem panel but youed not know tht untill what we can see now

The now-built ML7 (see here) can swing on the original base cabinet, with the corresponding results. Here and elsewhere a suitable steel plate under the machine was recommended ... I went allout:

At a steel fabricator not far from me, I found a leftover piece from a burn job.
Here I just came from our village blacksmith where we shot the holes in it.
The car is a RAV4 1.Gen ... Anyone want to give an estimate on the weight of the plate?

Yes, there is a big difference: I did not have a chip tray or raising blocks.

- Step one is the steel plate. That should bring much more stability.

- I've already been to the sheet metal worker today, and he's making me a tray - not such a nice eight-cornered one to match the base cabinet, but bigger and much higher at the back, this second step is definitely coming.

- The third step might be to decide on raising blocks, but I don't know yet.
The plate already gives me 30mm more height, let's see if that fits my configuration - long legs, short arms.
Raising blocks also make cleaning easier, of course ....
But whether I would then go with the originals for expensive money ... I'm sceptical, I'd probably go for solid steel blocks ...


Any suggestions?

Cost? Zero.

Waylaid a skip today, the foreign labourer wheeling it looked on in disgust as I swiped three, what I think might be sanitary towel bins.

Super clean condition. Couldn't find the lids though..

Of course I won't get out of it at zero, but it won't be particularly expensive either:

I take a complete sheet metal panel of 2x1000x2000mm from him, he makes the main cuts, notches and bends, I do the rest.

I'll make the splashback elevation to plug on to the tub, and what's left over will be my stock of sheet metal, which is always needed, because I've run out of sheet metal.

It looks like "quite normal" CEE connectors, but I only count four conductors, so it can't be L3/N/PE ...

I have enlarged the inscription on the socket ... now I can't see through it at all ...

I read 2P + PE, 32A for 6h max.???

it's 3p + earth, very common in older UK industrial buildings where 3 phase was ran specifically for motors or other big consumers. They didn't see any need for Neutral as that was always ran on separate 240v circuits.

When you buy a 3 phase plug or socket over here you have to specify whether you want 4 pin or 5 pin.

We only have this in single-phase 230V in very old house subdistribution boards, it's called "classic earthing": N and PE are set equal. This is no longer allowed to be newly installed. It's a plague when you want to reconnect something in an old house ....

Today I eventually acquired the rear rack for my Africa Twin.
It was ordered at the same time as I ordered the bike but everything is on back order and taking months and months.

Got it fitted to the AT, was thinking I would get it powder coated matt black but first impressions with it fitted and I think it looks ok.
