There was a lot of Korloy tools on Amazon and still some left. This might be a good choice for a m300 size, the shank might need a trim with grinder if you have a smaller qctp.

My nephew does house clearance,well paid work plus he gets to keep everything,people are so wasteful,rich and joe public! He doesn’t or can’t be bothered with sorting it ,so is almost as bad,but he s very tidy and careful,his dad was visiting him in Sussex,and thought this would complement my ‘60’s camper.

Another, smaller and more precise Benson vernier. I had been given the top one, which measures in both metric and imperial (good for drill bits and bolt shanks), the lower is the newer and it’s just metric. Made in Bradford.

We learned the hard way that you need to specify a grade on threaded bar, otherwise you get the stuff that hasn't been made to a standard at all.

A new job.
Had enough of being away all week and had more than enough of spending most of my time in and around London so I put the word out and was put onto an upcoming job with a Weardale haulier who has a driver retiring next month, went to see the main man this morning and an hour later the job's mine. Typical haulier, I took to him from the moment I met him and he's very busy, always a good sign.
Mainly tautliner work out of the northeast on general haulage northwards and down to the Midlands, also some chemical work for which he's happy to put me through ADR training, nights out will be up to me and as long as the job gets done everyone is happy. Retiring driver finishes in three week's time so a fortnight's notice will go in on Monday which will give me a free week to have a few days away, either under water somewhere up the west coast of Scotland or out on the moors camping.

I picked up a nice new made in England wheelbarrow
This is to replace the old one that was a bit err worn....
I measured the old and new tubing to see what differences there were and it's the same OD on the new one but I don't think it's the same wall diameter as it does feel lighter.
I'm not taking the grips off the new one to check though.
The tub definitely feels thinner.

Almost 30 years, as have most of his drivers.
I bet a work's do is a hilarious affair, a bunch of dinosaurs complaining about their various illnesses and lapsing periodically into the "Four Yorkshiremen" sketch
. And I'll have to put my cast-iron "Yorkshireman" sign in the windscreen of the new wagon as well, just to let my adopted countrymen know where I'm from
