The auto traverse has a pin and a grub screw in it on mine, at the casting end rather than the bed end. Do you have any collets with yours? I’m trying to identify the taper on mineOoh I've got one of thosemines blue though so loads better
Did you split it at the drip tray to move? If so how does the shaft to the auto traverse come off? Mine seems to be pinned but I can't see where.

Do you mean at the main column casting end? Photo would be handy if you get chance. The auto traverse has a pin and a grub screw in it on mine, at the casting end rather than the bed end. Do you have any collets with yours? I’m trying to identify the taper on mine

Mine is a MT3 taper I don't know if that is original.
How much did you pay if you don't mind me asking? Thinking of selling mine...
As I said `previously mate its got a proprietary taper fitted. I would try Double boost as it would make a cracking Saturday night nitecap series . I take it you have released the drawbar and dropped the facemill out. I am sure he could copy that with a 5C collet on it! Definitely not a 3 morse. The auto traverse has a pin and a grub screw in it on mine, at the casting end rather than the bed end. Do you have any collets with yours? Yeah I dropped it before, I’d like to get hold of the original collets if I can (probably not possible!) to save extending the tool outAs I said `previously mate its got a proprietary taper fitted. I'm presently drooling over that stock. Great eye candy, as at the moment I have absolutely nothing for my lathe to munch on.Steel!Mostly SS, some MS and a bit of Ally. Majority courtesy of @hotponyshoes but also Zoro which had some decent deals on silver steel especially with the 20% off code floating about
Just need to work out what to do with it all now

That's VERY nice. Good little bikes. OHC, points in a snsible place. Needs a good battery to run reliably as I recall.A local, totally original 1979 Honda CB100N.
One owner since 1981, under 10K miles, full service history, manual and invoice: for 'not stupid' money (that sports mopeds and C50/70/90s seem to make).
In 1981 it was priced £400 at a Honda dealer. The shocker is that he bought it on HP over 36 months, which cost him £730!

Not needing any new chrome sold it to me. The wheel rims will come up a treat after citric and I might see if 2K clear will stick. That's VERY nice. Good little bikes. OHC, points in a snsible place. Needs a good battery to run reliably as I recall.
