I acquired 4 32A sockets that I didn't want.

We are commissioning a new Sterile Supply building, our network room spec which the primary contractor has had since day 1 specifies 2 x 16A commandos per network cabinet.

Had a word with the project manager and a sparkie turns up with 4 x 32A plugs, wasn't very happy when I told him to take them back and rewire for 16A sockets instead

Another 10mins goes by and he returns with the electrical drawings which shows 32A sockets

So he's done what he's been told to do so its now gone back to the principal contractor to agree to rectify

Funnily enough I’m looking at a 3ph motor and vfd as the motor fitted seems to be very weak

You are probably right. Seems like they made a few "options" regarding the spindle. I thought Tinbasher knew something we didn't or had a secret stash of collets.

We had given it a good go to source them in the forum over the years but you never know the ability and inginuity of people on here. Some things on YouTube made by people never cease to amaze me.

I am sure the original taper version only ever had 4 collets anyway, which was why my plan was always to make a taper with a 5c collet and another to fit a chuck
