Ah you moved it to top of the tailstock. I quite liked the idea of the storage space. I might move my lidl caliper to the side and put a little storage tray.Friday, yesterday and today I got these

With the scale on the side it was fouling the toolpost so I moved it to the top. I am contemplating making a small tray for the side but will have to make sure it won't get in the road of anything.

The mini air orbital polisher arrived, seems decent, good weight to it. I have been too lazy to get compressor out and try it yet - too much stuff in the way.

Edit - its bloody brilliant. Compressor is running 100% but thats fine it wont be getting heavy use, more for polishing than sanding.

I've got one of those old Makita 1" belt sanders. A brilliant tool, I just split and get 3 belts out of a standard 10" belt.

Gave it a quick test. Definitely beats the black and deckers.
110v to for an added bonus. (I dislike 240 for tools )
Unfortunately the belts are a bit smaller than my belt sander so ordered up a selection to fit.

Mine is 110v also, but the American issue that is spec'd at 60 htz; however, it has worked fine with a UK 110v 50 htz site transformer, as do all my other 110 volt tools I brought over.

No idea how my dad builds these balsa aircraft, he has severe claw hands and arthritis such that he can hardly write. He constantly builds model aircraft and usually just passes them on to local kids. I asked for one to decorate the garage and got a spitfire:

Must be the season for inspection lights as I've picked two up off the deck in the last couple of weeks. The Snap On one doesn't work - maybe needs charging, however the Sealy works after charging. Well pleased with that.

One of those tools I wish I had every now and then but couldn't justify the outlay for a decent one for the odd times.
Now I've got it in the van it's probably going to see a lot of use.
Not a fan of air tools either.
I have a cengar saw. Only bought it for fitting deadlocks to the van.
That's the only airtool I've used more than Once.

^^ the exact reason I just got the one i saw on Facebook yesterday. It's only a b and d one but for the odd time it'll be used its fine. If I find I'm using it loads I'll sell this and upgrade.
