I used to get Richmond sausages for free in big catering size boxes but I couldn't eat them, they are disgusting, I left a load of cooked ones out in the garden and nothing ever touched them and they didn't go off they just dried up and went rock hard like bits of rebar.

Today I collected the 2' x 4' hydraulic lift table. Very happy with the condition, and it was a nice day out for a road trip.
The paperwork I was given states it is a TDF70 double lift table truck, and was originally sold by Midland Bearings LTD.

Today i aquired a Beach tool box, it’s empty, and weighs a ton... its a very, very well made bit of kit, that easily rivals snap-on at a fraction of the priceView attachment 286736

Excellent boxes I have a few, still looking for a Beach side cab only ever seen one, so good info on them on Garage Journal.

That’s in good order.

I would say "as new". The add said it had only been used several times, and I can believe that. The sellers were lovely people, and it was a very pleasant transaction.

I made an upgrade from my Eastwood shrinker stretcher set and got this bigger Metz double acting machine. I haven’t done anything past playing with a little folded 90 but this should be nice to deeper profiles and domed pieces.

Due to a unforeseen incident I had time on my hands.
So I had an amble round a town and found a great little shop, very nice owner. I hope her venture goes far.

This was what got me inside.



Oh, just another old breast drill.
It is, but with a few things I like.



The twin jaw is designed to take square taper shanks bits. Like the old style Bit and brace drill.
The gearing is also low, so a lot of torque is produced.

This torch is the French version of the Ever ready Space beam torches.




Going to a bit heavy with 8 "D" cell batteries.

There's no actual meat in a Richmond sausage anyway, they are made from ground up pig skin and mechanically recovered slurry .

Saving my back was the main consideration for acquiring one. The neighbour has one at his welding shop and said its been a godsend for getting things like the hydraulic bender, fly press, and other massive items onto the bench's. I'll use it as a work bench mostly by fabricating a larger top to attach. Might need to remove the handle and relocate the lowering lever, so will have to have a think about that.

You could always fit a small 12V lead acid in the torch

For what, I don’t know yet. I liked the hand wheel.

I will probably take that off and scrap the rest.
I did think about the basis for a roller but not sure....
