Found an identical one. I guessed at the logarithmic scale based on it starting at one. Log scales do not go down to zero. Whatever the scale, it sure isn't linear. Seller's description might be plausible but not for a log scale (he says measure diameter and it converts to area - that is a 'square' or geometric scale, not a log one).

You might have to zero (one) it on something and see how much the needle moves when you put a 1/2" gauge block under it. Then set it to 10 with the same block under it and remove the block and see where the scale ends up.

Arrived. The os disk was lurking on the emulator unknown to the previous owner. Turning it to disk 000 and booted straight up with a test sample.

I may have acquired a second one of these.

Came across it last week.
In its original box with disks and has one of the add on boards with the 8 extra outputs and digital outputs

I'm hoping it's got more suprises lurking inside. The FX board and extra filters would be very welcome.

Il swap the floppy emulator into this one and sell the first to cover the costs

I paid 80.

The output boards sell for 90.
The filter boards sell for 90
The FX boards around 150.

Fingers crossed.

For transporting the cylinder when I swap it for a full one, I remove the regulator (of course) and the yellow cap in the photos and install a typical one-piece valve protection cap like the brown one that you can see sitting on the tool cabinet in one of the photos.

My wife has just asked if I can clean her necklace but it's the chain that's rusted so not really going to work, could I get away with buying her a new silver chain and say I needed to get a new 10/15 litre maching to do it with

Would it be worth fitting 4 new transducers from Ebay or buying a new one???

Today I acquired some MDF, a material that is way up there in my list of unpleasant materials alongside tripe and Turkish Delight.

I've given it a coat of Oso hard wax oil so it'll hopefully be wipe clean as it'll be a more spacious tool wall behind the desk with the rubber mat on it; spanners mainly - they're currently on the OSB on the end of the desk at a most inconvenient height having been relocated there from what had been an even more inconvenient location...

Bought my first files .
Both bastard and both Bassoli , good made in Italy stuff .
Anyway a round file 5/32" or 3.9mm 150mm
And a flat one 18x5x150mm

Bought them to sharpen chainsaw chain and file down the rackers ?

Also bought two nice wood handles for them .
I'll fit them tomorrow and I'll upload images.
Think about use linseed oil on the handles after shaving off the clear coat
