Its amazing that they thought of everything...I'm even happier with my 3m helmet now (assuming I'm asleep at 3am of course!). Sort of makes sense I guess...if 2 welders are working together and one is grinding they'd need protection from the arc uv too.

I got the bed and legs for my Holbrook back to my workshop, and pulled up the steep slope on a small wheeled hydraulic platform over rough concrete, assisted by my brother and cousin, and not only did nobody die, but we managed not to smash anything. Holbrooks are soooo heavy!!

Classic Ever Ready Space Beam Torch.

The bulb looks look and has continuity, I just need to get a decent battery.

A good T cut and a polish should have this cleaned up a treat.


A few useful bits donated to me by a "Big Boss" at work. For my current tasks, no use. But you can never have enough screwdrivers or caulking guns.




The black thing, is very useful, gets me into a secure loft space. Plus it has the secure loft hatch reset tang.




A brand new hole set, I asked my boss if I can have a new arbour and drills to keep my set going. Some unknown reason I got a new set.
Rumour has it, as mine are a Bosch set. It was cheaper to send me this that get Bosch units.



A Stanley 2 Speed brace drill, bit tight on the movement. But this is going to used to help a friend out of his depression. Few coffees, bit of food (Spare ribs and garlic bread) will see it cleaned up, ready to be used and a happy friend.

The first and so far only time I did it I walked into A&e at 03.00 panicking as I didn't realise what I had done . As I opened the door to go in I heard the nurse say "ark eye" . Never been so pleased .

Should be fine most/all clear plastic will filter uv.

Eyes were absolutely fine....think i was very lucky (actually I think that 3m kit is excellent and maybe they idiot proofed the design!)

I have a vaccuum bleeder just like that. The plastic is very brittle and doesnt drop well. Also it didnt seem to bleed brakes well, but that may have been me...

Yep I have a better way of doing brakes so wont be used for that. The vacuum pump does seem to hold well which is all I need.

I have the SP version.
Used for more than brakes.

The weakness is the plastic containers. But washing them out as soon as you are done keeps them good.

Save myself some money in brake cleaner. Handy for other things too just used it to blow out the washer jet lines on the dmax as they got clogged as I don't have a compressor anymore.

Needed some more tool storage in the garage, so I ordered this 10 days ago, a 42" wide Roll Cab and Top Box from Costco including delivery and vat.....£590.
May not be Snap-on but it'll do for tool storage......seems well made for the money

The Plane on the right.

Remove the front handle, bring it into the bathroom. Leave it for about a week.
Then glue it with a 2 pack glue. Not the rapid type.
Clamp well, then clean up and re stain.

Both Planes will have UNC or Whit threads.

True.
But great to force fill a brake system,, pull up the fuel on a disiel system.
Find leaks on brakes systems.

They do bled brakes well. But only when you have fitted(Said bad words) the right connections and used your third hand to hold the container and the forth hand to hold onto the spanner.
