What's the diff between a G clamp and a G cramp? apart from the L &R

Yesterday I acquired a 36 page report which according to my boss was a must read for security intelligence.
The actual content I guess would have taken 100's of hours to compile - the front cover....

A new job.
You know it's time to move on when the 5th wheel on the unit is so far back (and can't be slid forward because the front corners of the trailer will hit the crane when cornering...) that a 35 ton loading shovel on a 4 axle stepframe trailer lifts weight off of both the drive bogie and the steer axle to the point where the whole rig goes straight on no matter how little steering is put on
. And at just shy of 4 metres wide from a quarry at Leyburn in North Yorkshire to Teesside via Catterick Garrison in thick snow and white out conditions, my pert bottom was not just twitching it was practically eating the seat 
.
Heard a rumour about a Hiab job on Thursday and made a phone call then went to see him this morning. My reputation must have preceded me as he offered me the job starting a fortnight as last Monday just gone
and the fact that I'll be driving a well spec'ed MAN with the high roof TGX XXL cab with a 60 ton Fassi crane and coupled to it's own trailer for more money than I'm on now clinched the deal .

I've been sorting out a pile of nuts and bolts left to me by my father, mainly UNC/UNF/BSW/BSF etc. He never threw anything away and was always following fitters around the factory to see what they left behind. The smaller stuff will go into Raaco drawers, but anything much above 1/4 UNC needs something bigger. So I won this today, within an hour it was in the workshop.
Its only about 4ft tall but should make a good edition to these lot, the wooden drawers are a bit naff, but come from my first shed workshop, you can see where they are bowing.
Hopefully the should help sort these

and four old shelves out of my old BT Bedford HA that I acquired when they swapped it for a new Sherpa box van. My dad had them on the wall of his garage, and filled them with bolts within a week.
I have been tempted to skip the lot a couple of times but they have come up trumps with fasteners while renovating old machines so glad I didn't.

Got these during the week from my dad, four bessey clamps and load of wood working bits. He also gave me his Dewalt 1/2 router 
I got these two hand planes as well, they were my great grandfathers. I’m going to clean them right up and paint them. I’m quite pleased. One of them is No5 acorn and the other is an old Stanley no 4
Then I bought 50m of 2.5m H07 flex. I need 3m so I’m not sure what was going through my head when I bought that a lovely forum member kindly helped me out with the 35mm cable and the clamp here. I’m going to make some extension leads for my welder.

Don't do it. !I made that mistake a few years ago when downsizing for retirement. I dumped buckets of bolts, hardware and all sorts of screws including aircraft type I didn't think I would need in the future,
but at least I kept the drawers and cabinet.

I find the Douwe Egberts coffee jars are OK for storage as they're sealed, Much higher class too.

I "acquired"
an identical steel drawer unit many years ago while dismantling ginormous hydraulic press in Walter Somers of Halesowen, they of the legendary "Iraqui Supergun" affair that Sheffield Forgemasters were embroiled in back in the 1980's.It sat in my Dad's garage from about 1983 until he died 9 years ago and when I cleared it out it still had all the nuts and bolts and assorted junk in it that I put there! It went to the scrappie 4 years ago when we moved north and would now have been ideal in my mancave, but as I'm getting rid of stuff before I expire it would have been just more junk...
