Never used them, but understand Clarke’s have a very good parts dept.

when I needed spares for a Clarke motor I tried here, https://www.clarkeservice.co.uk/parts.shtml
They couldn’t help as it was a part that shouldn’t ever need replacing but they may have what you need

had to take an engine to bits today from work, was told to hone the bore and replace rings (among other things) and the rings were in pretty good nick, so...

not much but i didn't acquire anything else

I go through Machine Mart, not sure if you end up at Clarke spares.

Pair of seats out of a Celica, they were cheap cos of the damage to the driver's seat.

Planning on fitting them to the Cherokee, if it works out will look for some better ones

Yeah of course they are because we’re not buying their products.

It's the same type of tactic as when, say for example paint manufacturers, say you must only use their thinners with their product. They want you to buy their products.

Except that there’s no actual evidence that companies are “moving away from using it”.(citric acid) No one else seems to have heard of this claim and it makes no sense as it’s a natural product.

At last a man with taste , it makes people mellow happy and humerous instead of fractious and pinched/ punched faced .

For some reason even a hafen of the Scotch stuff gives me gut rot for days on end .
I suppose it is the cheapness of th Scotch only being distilled twice that is the cause of the problem, whereas the Bushmills triple distilled single malt 30 yr old goes down like a sweet alcohol free kiddies malt beer. Till it catches up with you 1/5 of the way down the bottle

For no apparent reason someone has sent me a Charcoal Briquette. not an actual charcoal briquette, but what looks like a large slice of black pudding but is actually cheddar cheese with 'vegetable ash' in it. No, I have no idea either..
