At last a man with taste , it makes people mellow happy and humerous instead of fractious and pinched/ punched faced .

For some reason even a hafen of the Scotch stuff gives me gut rot for days on end .
I suppose it is the cheapness of th Scotch only being distilled twice that is the cause of the problem, whereas the Bushmills triple distilled single malt 30 yr old goes down like a sweet alcohol free kiddies malt beer. Till it catches up with you 1/5 of the way down the bottle

The twice/three times thing isn't always true. Springbank distillery in Campbeltown produce three whiskies: Longrow (distilled twice), Hazelburn (distilled three times) and Springbank (distilled "two and a half times", which I presume on the basis of no evidence whatsoever means that half is distilled three times and half twice).

I like Irish whiskey for a change, but I generally find it doesn't have the depth and variety of flavour that you get in a dram of good Scotch whisky.

For no apparent reason someone has sent me a Charcoal Briquette. not an actual charcoal briquette, but what looks like a large slice of black pudding but is actually cheddar cheese with 'vegetable ash' in it. No, I have no idea either..

Ive been to the Bushmills distillery in Ireland. They also distill Midleton whiskey. My last name is Middleton, so was looking forward to buying a bottle and a jacket so something.... so I mentioned to one of the staff that my name was spletwith 2 ‘d’s, to be told the ‘yes some peOple, don't spell it correctly’

Hopefully the solution to my wireless woes...recommended by a friend as "consumer grade" which means I hopefully don't need to be a member of the whiz kids to get it set up.

Problem with current setup I think it can't handle the number of connected devices so it's managing the connections.....juggling too many balls.

I have not got a nice new renewal of my Nice Pallfinger Lorry Loader, Epslon Lorry Loader Cranes.
I did the course way back in June, but due to the current situation the official certifications were nor released until today.

The Hook Loader and Skip loader one will be dispatched in the next 5 days.

Like the glut of vices I have, I am not going to use it every day. But is useful mates Farm where is has a DAFF with a Crane fitted.

I got invited onto the course, as I used to work there, had a past certification and they had a space. All free.

Means I am now deemed competent on the Pallfinger range, nit just trained.

Dad sorted me out with his old chopsaw.....he retired a few years back, and its been gathering dust......wood dust that is.......picked up a Rage blade off the Bay, and munched through some 80x40 box section with ease.................thanks Dad

Today [well, another 'yesterday' one really ] I got the result of a PSA test I asked my GP to take as an extra sample for while giving my routine bloods a month ago. Came back as 0.20 which is negligible for a man of my age with no previous tests/treatments, so no fear of my developing life threatening prostate cancer any time soon.

I was diagnosed with benign prostate enlargement about 27 years ago [apparently quite young?] and have been taking a tablet daily to combat further growth since.

So I'm now replete, full of home-made chilli and with a large glass of my favourite red, the 19 Crimes to enjoy!

Watch out for those sneaky prostate antigens lads!!
