I couldn't get on with the digital control - use the knob type thermostat instead - mine came with both.
I run mine on Kero - cheaper and cleaner than diesel.
Don't run it at low power - that is when it soots up.
Ours runs flat out 10 hours a day for 10 months a year - had it about 18 months now - fantastic.
If you are after a psu for it we use something like this

It draws a big current whilst starting up - not much when running. I ended up soldering the wires direct instead of connectors as it melted a few different types!

I got a reproduced 1975 Britool catalogue and went about highlighting what I had... until I highlighted the wrong plastic handled spinner. This annoyed me, so I sought out a D75 ratchet handled variant to add to the collection! Very happy

Today well, yesterday actually [but I'm usually late to any party ] I received news I didn't want to hear, when attending a hospital clinic. Apparently the daily chemo capsule I've been taking for three years [along with associated and assorted other drugs] is no longer working at keeping my cancer at bay, and the Consultant is changing the regime/drug(s) to another one.

So, as of next week I'll be visiting hospital 40 miles away every week to have this drug administered by injection under the skin, following an infusion [luckily lasting c 10 minutes iirc] of another one. As far as I [or they?] can tell, it'll be weekly for 10-12 weeks[?], then fortnightly for a similar period then every month from then on. That'll be my Tuesdays mapped out for a while then....

The Consultant is going to try to get these eventually done at our local [very small] hospital, subject [I think] to a suitably trained Member of staff being available. This would be much more convenient and cut out loads of travelling. He also wants a video consultation [the facility is available there, I believe] the day before I undergo treatment #5 at Raigmore hospital in Inverness, presumably to check there have been no cumulative bad side effects.

I did a quick mental calculation of the cost(s) associated with the chemo capsule treatment over these past three years and the figure comes to....

Got my 4m3 argon bottle for the TIG,173€ subscription for 3 years and the refill is 140€
A box of Al TIG filler rods
Regulator for the argon bottle.

And a refill for the MIG as well 64€, expensive day !!

I found it on eBay, the guy makes them to order, not just for Jeep's but lots of other stuff as well. Turns out he has a FB page, ended up going direct.

They do come powder coated, asked for some money off as I wanted it bare metal so it's gonna get blasted then epoxy primed and painted

Rocking horse shop was clean out of anything useful, these came from the Unicorn store around the corner.

It makes me sick how much I paid for them..
