I couldn't get on with the digital control - use the knob type thermostat instead - mine came with both.
I run mine on Kero - cheaper and cleaner than diesel.
Don't run it at low power - that is when it soots up.
Ours runs flat out 10 hours a day for 10 months a year - had it about 18 months now - fantastic.

It draws a big current whilst starting up - not much when running. I ended up soldering the wires direct instead of connectors as it melted a few different types!





] I received news I didn't want to hear, when attending a hospital clinic. Apparently the daily chemo capsule I've been taking for three years [along with associated and assorted other drugs] is no longer working at keeping my cancer at bay, and the Consultant is changing the regime/drug(s) to another one.
