That would make an excellent citric acid tank I reckon

I think for now it is going into storage as an emergency fish tank for the koi just incase we ever need to isolate any, but i found a perfect citric tank recently (see below) ideal for larger objects such as engines, but the big one would take an axle..

is there a possabilty they did not know or is it just you took it apart (for a reason eg it was not running right)

My next project.

Morris 1000, 1966 needs a good tidy up, bit of welding and a respray. Going to start stripping it tonight.

Scored a few Thomas compressors. A Bit rough, but I'll see if I can make 1 good 'un out of 4.View attachment 234255

So 3 are working, 2 are actually pumping compressed air, the third working one is pumping but it's missing a cylinder head. The last out of the four is not turning, the motor hums so I think it's snookered.

Any suggestions for a use before they go in donedeal?

It is on my to do list, when i extended the garage i allowed for a 40mm floor raise and i think i have a bit of stainless box with a 5mm wall as a sill so the doors shut against it the idea is it should be air tight, just need time to do it

Good luck on the recovery mate. My old man was done about 6 months ago and he's recovering really well, just take it easy and follow their advice. The legs and sleeping on his back were the worst for him. All the best.

So today I got this out the box. It's only been in the box (and getting in my way) since christmas!
It actually takes up quite a bit less room out the box. Titan planner thicknesser. Only time for a quick play in planner mode but it seems to work pretty well. Bit of a pain that you have to move the chip extractor to go between planner and thicknesser but I think I'm going to be able to put it to good use.

The lump of wood behind it is a bit of Jarra wood I lopped off the end of a sleeper I got a while ago. The bandsaw wasn't having a lot of fun ripping that down!
