Is it one of those 'safes', where you can hide cash/small valuables?
[I hope someone 'in Power' can stop this business of waiting to post an answer/response - or at least come clean and explain why it's been deemed necessary - it's incredibly frustrating.

When I was a boy my best mate’s dad ran a small groundwork’s firm (not far from @8ob ), anyway one of his machine operators would test for a spark by sticking his finger in the plug cap and spinning it over

I remember testing for live mains like that, screwdriver on the contact and tap the blade - I had rubber soles on, though!

Some people for whatever reason have different reactions to electricity there is farmera local legend of a farmer who can grab an electric fence without problem then grab someone usually by the earlobe and they get the shock no t him

The coloured strips were known as rogue yarn , iirc from my seamanship course in the 60s , when the man made fibres came in nylon had a blue yarn and terylene had a great one , they stretch a lot and become dangerous , there was a tug of war between 2 ships companies on the South Mole Gibraltar , used a ships tow rope which was a large braided rope, after the rag was pulled over the line one crew dropped the rope , the stored energy was released and the large thimble eye and link caused a lot of injuries ,

Used to do this for a laugh when we were kids (many moons ago) we had a a line of 4 or 5 of us the strange thing was only the the one touching the fence and the last one in the line got the shock.

This popped up on FB Marketplace back in January, I messaged the guy several times and he never replied so assumed it was sold
Had an alert that the price had been reduced so a few more messages fired off and he eventually replied
Tested before parting with the cash and it cuts really well
