I had this, any flat surface in the garage got school/kids/PTA guff dumped on it. I discovered covering the surfaces with stackable crates ment she couldn't dump stuff there and I'd just stack them up on the floor if I needed to use my workbench

3840x1080 res. Very happy with it

should have done it in the beginning

That is the way to do things in Fusion, wasn't used to that way of working with my previous CAD but once you get into the swing of it it makes life very easy for dismantling and placing for plasma or even milling.

No reason why not but then again two 27" monitors will give a similar screen area.
The advantage to the ultrawide would be for the likes of gaming as you have no edge separation between screens but for the likes of spreadsheets I don't think that would matter.
Some of the modern monitors have minimal frames around them so the pictures are more continuous than with older style monitors side by side.

I’m not a gamer but wouldn’t mind a big work screen, currently using a 32” monitor

not me but bruv scored a 00 lead burning torch and hoses in mint nick for a fiver bet the guy didn't know the price of em think there over 90 quid . its great when your well up on prices of stuff

It is simple as long as your graphics card has two (or more) output ports, most do, even the cheap ones.
You can set up various ways in windows and choose which is the main display, as you can see in the pic monitor 2 is the one I have as main, that means it is the one with the task bar etc but you can have either one.

You can drag the screens about in the setup to imitate your physical setup, for example a few years back in my workshop I had two screens one above the other and in windows it was set up that way, it meant when I moved my mouse from the lower to upper screen it was an upward move to get onto the top screen, if they had been set up like the previous image it would have been a side move which would be weird

Right, I’ve had a look, it has two square type monitor outputs, one of which I’m using

Cable is hdmi at one end and a “Dell” connection at the other end.

Can you tell me what it’s called so I can buy one

Big difference is you tend to use them as two separate screens.
Found I'm making more use of the real estate like this. Especially in graphics programs when I can have windows and tool boxes open and still have ample room to work.
Might be persuaded to get a second one to go above it in the future

I'd dabbled with components for repeat items like windows etc but making a component out of components is a better option now I've used it. Take longer initially but saves time later making changes and laying out cuts

Depends I split the screen and have a quote one side and invoice the other .or quote and webpage/doc I'm pricing from
Or webpage and invoice on desktop and laptop in front I'm working on can share clipboard between windows 10 PC's so works well

Can also use it as two monitors from two different PC's at the same time. So laptop and desktop on the same monitor

I make components from groups. It helps because I use Sketchup to make models to show demolition sequences and I can move/modify/delete bits to show the work progression.
