Feeling rather pleased with myself, bought a non-running 1/2hp BTH motor from the scrapyard today with a smashed mounting bracket. I had a spare bracket at home and a new cord and plug and the motor runs perfectly! I will dismantle it to clean the crud from inside but for $20 that’s a bargain

I bought one of these trapper hats off snap on a few years back and it's awesome, it's rarely cold enough to wear it though.

Yeah, it’s dead toasty but my missus thinks I look like a burglar in it!! Might be the face fuzz I’m growing, I’m am trying to grow a beard but my cheeks are pathetic. I’ve never gone this long in my life without shaving and it’s only been 2 weeks!!

it’s safe to say I look like a scruff but at least I’m a toasty scruff

that’s it though, there’s no trend round here and 3 of my good mates can grow the mightiest of beards but don’t cos they don’t like them.

I think I’m doing it cos it’s almost there and an inch I need to scratch!

Been waiting on a job I sent to be powder coated,so have just got around to using it it anger,setting 104 s/steel m5 rivnuts.First time I’ve used one & the customer was willing to pay! The m5 setting mandrel don’t last long,luckily I had a load of 12.9 Allen bolts I could use,must’ve got thru at least 8,as the threads would wear.
Nicely presented case.photos of finished work to follow.btw,don’t you just love that name?

So here’s the display signs with the nuts in place,done 26 this size & 1 large one ,the informations will be made & printed onto a weatherproof display board,all powder coated.
