I haven't used them yet
Those should provide IR and UV protection ,I will wear them under the welding helmet .

Got in Barney Rubble with the trouble an strife last week, said she'd cut me Albert halls off if I bought home any more crown jewels. Said she couldn't give a Johnathon Ross if it was only a Ayrton Senna!

I alway appreciate help given, but it’s just good to know I can now get heavy stuff on and off benches without grabbing random passing ‘strong men’.
Biggest thing to do this month, is I can now move my mill onto the lift, strengthen the mill’s stand (or build a new bench, not made up my mind yet), and do any fettlin’ needed without getting stuck, because my neighbours have all selfishly gone out to work.

Today I half acquired
A 2hp single phase motor that I will pickup once the owner come to home to pickup a drill (15 euros)
And an engine driven air compressor for free because the owner can't figure out how to sell it
So little bit of waiting for that so he will convince that he will never sell it and it's mine
It's an old compressor
Lombardini gasoline engine with carb issues
I will pickup and rebuild as I did with my engine driven welder
Done that I will have no excuse to not buy a plasma cutter and a needle scaler

On my travels today I went to see my old mate @julianthegypsy, haven’t seen him for a year or two. He’s got a neat little workshop in the Cotswolds and makes a crackling line of specialist products, too modest to post up his work
Anyway I acquired two things, a good chat with an old mate, sorry I couldn’t stay longer fella, stroppy teenagers had to go to the shops
And I acquired this

Just had 2 email reminders for next weekend’s outings.
Friday night’s is a talk about stargazing at the Tan Hill Inn, and hopefully a spot of practice afterwards, weather permitting. And Saturday night’s is a talk about the Northern Lights at the North Pennines Observatory at Allenheads. Tan Hill, straddling the high Pennine Way between the Yorkhire Dales and the North Pennines, overlooking Bowes Moor and the trans-Pennine A66, is a great spot for stargazing, the only light pollution being from the east over Teesside way, and Allenheads is stunning all round, dark and isolated, a few miles north of the road to Alston in Upper Weardale.
Fingers crossed for clear skies both nights, but even if not, am looking forward to the pair of them.
