Put up a door bell push the other day for a neighbour, took 15 or 20 mins. He said halfway through he had a few old tools for me. Anyway tonight i came in and these were here for me. A Black and Decker sander and a Parkside, with a long homemade extension lead. The Parkside one is a whopper, massive, the B&D one is the same as the one i had before and got years out of it.

Some kind of screw press types device. It needs freeing up then I’ll see if I can find a use for it.

I have one of those parkside sanders & it's great on horizontal surfaces due to its weight but not so nice on vertical stuff! Take care when using it, when you push down the front handle it speeds up!
Hard to get an idea of the size from the photos, but a spring compressor maybe ?
Great to see you mate, you must drop ny again now you know where I am!On my travels today I went to see my old mate @julianthegypsy, haven’t seen him for a year or two. He’s got a neat little workshop in the Cotswolds and makes a crackling line of specialist products, too modest to post up his work
Anyway I acquired two things, a good chat with an old mate, sorry I couldn’t stay longer fella, stroppy teenagers had to go to the shops
And I acquired this
