Reading some of your posts and what you do, and telling folk that there are better ways I’m shocked that you haven’t found a cheaper way of doing this and that you are actually rolling up your sleeves to do some work.

neighbours just sold his boy racer car and had stripped all the audio out of it. he threw it outside and left it in the rain, i saw it today and asked if i could have it. the sub, unfortunatly, is all that survived. i told him next time just lob it at me, no point in letting it go to waste!

Had some stuff like that years ago , left it in a dry room well off the floor for three weeks then tried it out , everything worked .. suspect not switching anything on thus not causing over loads and degradation gave it time to dry out slowly .

Within a degree one way square the other way in the first cut thats with eyeing the swivel to 90 little more care setting the swivel and it be good
