It was on this huge old radial drill at my old work, the drill is a WWI era machine, belt driven from a single source then gear driven through the entire machine. All the nuts were weird sizes we just don’t use nowadays, lots looked to have been cut by hand. I think the thing weighed 3t.
When I was aghast at that weight, the guy showed me a 6t shaper he had, single headed on sliding rails with two T blocks so you could leave one job set up. The building is really dark but I managed to get a pic of the door. Again another line shaft machine retrofitted with motor drive.

You will struggle to cut rebar with that as actual rebar cutters have slots for the bar, and don’t so much cut but shear the bar. Would be much more at home in a general engineering workshop.

Cuts re-bar good enough for their needs. There is plans for other uses in the future.
That's the one the club wanted, we had a look at the other items and I acquired it and got it home.
The deal is that it is theirs, but I have access to it when I need.

I definitely acquired the Sunbeam today, its off and in the workshop. I started it and thats it. Throttle is sticky, carb drips, bars are loose. So needs showing a bit of TLC and a spanner or two.
It looks proper well on the back of the Pickup

Interesting times, folks with cars fit them with bike carbs, folks with bikes fit them with car carbs.
Actually I had a GSXR400R in the early 90's which was a four but was fitted from the factory with twin carbs, proper mini hooligan machine not very fast but tiny and weighed almost nothing it inspired much foolish riding in the two weeks I owned it.

Jasic pro tig 200p for use in the van.
Already put it in the garage and did a few test runs with it and compared to my r-tech 160 it's such a smoother arc.
Cant wait to actually get some jobs on the go and use it to it's full potential.
Does make me think what the rest of the jasic range is like as I am quite impressed with first impressions.

How does it compare to the XTT?
I dont know as only done very little on steel with the xtt, as still trying to get to grips with aluminium.
I would like to put the xtt back to back test with say the 200 ac/DC mini jasic and see how they perform to be honest. But I think I may have to find some fresh material and have a direct comparison at the weekend or something.

Eggs (done however you like them), numerous slices of black-pudding, mushrooms, hash browns, grilled tomatoes and a jug of freshly squeezed orange juice are also missing ! Plus, no sign of a bottle of HP sauce ! That is just a starter to snack on while you wait for the Full Monty Breakfast to arrive
