Yesterday, I acquired a Wadkin AGS 12" table saw with a brand new spare blade and a original spare motor for the grand total of £50.
Ran it up today and it runs like a top so I'm chuffed.
There's a bit of tin worm in the bottom of the stand that will need sorting and the fine adjust pinion is worn so will need replacing.

It was a 1986 or 87, I can't remember I only owned it for two weeks before someone else wrapped it around a lamp post.

i bought a fzr400 for 100 quid to do up as a runaround but it was a bit small for my lardy chuff. its a shame, sounded amazing whilst giving it absolute death!

Sort of in that one carb feeds two cylinders via two two stubs. Effectively the fuel air mix is drawn from each carb by two cylinders in sequence, so only two throttle bodies, two sets of jets, two floats etc. rather than four of everything as is usual with a jap inline four so only two carbs to balance.

Think I was about 11 and 1/2 stone back then ideal for a little bike, not so ideal was my 6 ft height.

3 candles, yo-yo, multi-tool, Stanley Plane honing guide(another one), Odd screwdriver and a leather pouch with a small set of BA spanners.
A Utility Cabinet key and a "push pin."
Another Paraffin "road side" lamp. But this is the first original green painted one I have acquired.
Brass Charcoal iron. But it needs a lot off attention.
The chimney is holed and there is a crack. Held in by a old repair.
From a good person, to help others. @Chillitt
4 Hold style drills.

Just got around to replacing three poppers and put two new ones in the neck strap, where there was only some useless velcro.
They seem ok, but will have to see how they do in service. They're a size down from the ones in the jacket, so if I were getting more I'd go bigger.
The supplied punches and anvil do the job - not the best of quality but don't show any signs of deformation. I'll grind a couple of flats on the anvil sides to fit better in the vice jaws, as it tends to get driven down with the hammering.
Handy Hint #4 of 206:
When throwing a bike jacket around a workbench to fit pop studs, make sure there's not a half-full tin of white spirit hiding there.

Today I aqquired another job to the job list, Brother bought a number of Ritelite K9 lights (ex army) but the batteries have umm... Swollen, SLAs so not as worrying as LIPO but still a concern, they will be removed and off to the scrappy then a new set installed. For some reason it falls on my lap to do the job rather than his (my degree is Enginnering Product design, his is Eletrical and Electronic Engineering.... surely opening it up is my job but the actual change of batteries is his)

Today I acquired 16 large galvanised steel Tote Pans from work destined for the scrap bin. I have been hooking odd ones out over the past year as the stores bin them, this was a lucky haul thanks our manager upsetting a member of staff by telling him his work area was untidy.

That’s a wee beastie! One of our local pubs used to do a similar tear and share plate full that were a little bit too moreish and we had three one night.
