what possible need would neccesitate such a large amount of 12-18in long, 1/2" 3/4" and upwards holes in (apparently) every old toolbox?
the amount of large augers i see suggests that every joiner must have used a range of sizes.
but, apart from draw bored tenons in woodframed houses, ive never seen a use?
why would a cabinet maker have them? for instance?
That was one grinder I looked at. Also wanted one with the same ,”compact” design. Eventually, having been told by more than one local supplier,that they don’t exist,I settled on the one made by Fein. More powerful at 1700w and variable speed.I want to make a plate bevelling head for it....
