Yesterday the torch on my old Cebora went intermitent stopping play on the Moggy. Just as i was about to order a new torch online my mobile goes, "Would i like a mig welder?" Yes please!" An so today i acquired a Murex 160 mig welder in a deal so it stands me in nowt. When my mate delivered it lo it has a pile of gear with it, Two full size bottles one of argoshield half full & one full one of argon. Two 5kg reels of .8 mig wire, half a reel of 316 stainless, 25 .8 tips, 25 1.0 tips, half a dozen new shrouds, new regulator, two good torches. Welder has been blown out with compressed air now to see if it lights up, If its ok i might buy a lotto ticket!

A coolant pump for my power hacksaw. I got it from one of those ‘vintage shops’ that distress the paint, polish the brass etc, you know the types... they had it down as an old air compressor attachment. As always I was delighted to liberate it from a life in a modern house/bar.
It’s a big old Soviet made thing! It sits quite snugly beside the flywheel, I’ll need to find a trough for it though I have a plan for that too...

A barford bug powered wheelbarrow - it's scarily uncontrollable but looks just the job for what I need to do.

It will go along nicely with my towable digger I got a few weeks back:
Powerfab 125 WT - plenty of power for what I need and hardly any slop... Unlike my bigger tractor mounted digger which is proper worn out, and 55 miles away from where I need it, on the back of a tractor, which isn't road legal... etc etc

Wire Brushes, 2 sets of side cutters and a hammer. £8.
I know what make they are, but they will do a turn fo0r what I need.
Old fashioned Toy shop, I never had a chance to go in, as parking the works van is a pain. Today 3 spaces so I could slip the van in.
Mamod spares. All new old stock. All but the Oil Bottle, that came from Newbury . But I lost the original label.
A Davey Lamp. Poor condition, but complete.

no generic, but i think thats so cheap
a few years ago you could only dream of stuff like this .
i suppose it will turn full circle soon and we could be enjoying the same economic boom as china ,with all its benefits ,save up for yeaes for a bicycle etc

This lovely 4lb Elwell axe head. It was on for $15 but I asked if they could cut the handle off as I only wanted the head, so they did it for $10. I was given a new, unused but long term stored axe handle a few months back, so this is going to be perfect for that.
