What a steal! Utilities vehicles usually have a hD chassis, which is double skinned and rot due to moisture trapped between the plates.Got this today off one of the senior volunteers at the Heritage railway I volunteer at. Got it for nothing. It's been off the road since 2013 and requires a shed load of work to get it back to roadworthy condition. Always wanted a Defender - this one is a 1993 200tdi 110 that was originally a Scottish Water Board vehicle. Hopefully get it moved from it's current location to my mate's workshop in the next couple of weeks and get it up on the ramp for a full assessment. After a quick look and poke about underneath it, the chassis requires major metalwork surgery. It may not be saveable and a new chassis may be required.View attachment 186880
