Not just acquired but realised what I had. I bought a Ryval Tig welder from a guy clearing out his dads garage just over a year ago. It was new and unused, much to my shame remains so. With it were a few other things also new and unused and after giving myself arc eye this week I remembered I had baseball cap type welding goggles which I could have used to get into the right space I was welding.
Dug it out, knocked the dust off the box only to realise it’s not cheap welding goggles but Optrel WeldCap. Just tried and feel cheated by the Clarke welding helmet I’d been using as this is so much clearer and faster reacting.
Almost makes up for having arc eye now.
