I have a big piece of old granite worktop and as you say it is surprisingly flat, certainly flat enough for anything I do.

%&*%$ heavy though, I still have to make a stand for it!

I have a ape microball height gauge given to me many years ago, yours is the first metric one I've seen.

I didn't realise that was metric? It reads up to 11.5 I assumed inches. The metric one goes to 300.

I did get an secondary infection due to an abscess, but that doesn't count.

So I got this.

Well not me acquiring. But Mrs TYA acquired a new pin cushion.

ME!!!!.

Over the weekend I needed to spend my Tax money and use the A&E departments in 2 hospitals.
I have nothing but praise for the staff there, doing a great job in a difficult time.

But today I was turned into a pin cushion. I acquired some holes.

But I am looking like a pin cushion.

Check in, Scottish nurse.

3 blood samples. Nice nurse.

IV drugs, busty nurse.

Injection, light on his feet nurse. nurse.

Head X ray, funny nurse.

Pain management, serious nurse.

More drugs, in pill form, busty nurse again.

Dentist, foreign blonde dentist and a small nurse.

Stiches in mouth. Laughing gas nurse was very tall. Dentist who stitched me up. Bad joke nurse.

Go home nurse, sweet Irish nurse.

Mrs TYA not a nurse.

All jokes aside. I am grateful to all the staff over the last few weeks who had to put up with me.
