Can you open up an independent email account on a totally unconnected computer to this site and send regular emails to it detailing that you are extremely concerned ABOUT THE MANAGER BECAUSE HE APPEARS TO HAVE LITTLE SENSE OF THE NEEDS FOR SAFETY AND REGULATIONSS THEN PUT YOUR CONCERNS ?
( Sorry for the caps I hit the wrong key )

That way you can draw them off the internet on a separate computer for interrogation if needed , thus keeping your work totally separate from your lunch time forages ?


It's horrible to have to keep going to work knowing just how much of a dipship your manager is. It's even worse when the ethos of the company is to keep sending ones of the same or lesser calibre when the Wayne Kerr gets promoted or sacked .

Working for BT I had 17 new managers in 9 years , glad to have become injured at work and medically discharged for I was getting close to lamping the last two but one with something heavy .

"Why do you have to be on site for three hours, for the yearly visit?'

I replied.
" The regulation states: The yearly visit is to be of a duration of 180 minutes of battery power."

His reply:
"Well can't we just say we have done it?'

My reply.(short version).


No.

I've been a very naughty boy. I heard about a woodworking workshop downsizing and flogging off some tools. I was driving down to Basildon to work and was already taking the trailer as I had bought something else so did a detour. But I only expected to get some clamps from this workshop, how wrong could I be

A pair of Wadkin PK dimension saws, a 1957 and a 58. Both in working condition, one with a DC brake and serviced recently.

Also came with half a dozen blades. Not too sure which one to keep and if to restore both or just the one I want to keep.

Weight with all the accessories is about 730kg a piece, there are a few bits missing so guessing I have about 1450kg on the trailer. It's twin axle so should be fine, I'm towing with a Disco 3. But i won't now pick up the machine I was initially bringing the trailer for, this was a similar era bobbin sander, this comes in around 4 to 500kg so will wait for the next journey, it would just about fit in the back of the disco but don't like pushing the envelope.

I have bought a few more ratchet straps as some have seen better days and I'll head back to Yorkshire in the morning. Weather forecast is fine so with a bit of luck I won't have to get the tarp out

Pick this up today not many formers but should be ok for my roll cage , dont often get a bargain on ebay very often but I thought £25 was a steal

That's a genuine Tubela, one of the best on the market. Ours at work has done so much work it's unreal. Must be 20-30 years old. We bought a full seal kit and a powered hydraulic conversion kit from Tubela last year and has made handrailing etc much easier and faster.

£25 was a ridiculous bargain.

I really thought it would go for more and put 50 max bid but didnt expect to win it tbh so was really suprised when i did ! Low bid as i expected to need a seal kit but no leaks either.
Need to keep a eye out for some formers now

I have been busy the last few days clearing a few sheds and one of them was really good with plenty of bits, Small drawer sets always grab my attention and a schweppes crate with all sorts of bits, But i found a nice solid block of copper soldering iron in there which i used today for soldering a lead join.
