Few days ago I was asked to unlock a Push Button lock on a stowage area. I am know to the site, as I used to do maintenance on the site. But this time I was visiting. The lock is a type we fit at work, so I have the tools to open if the lock or the code is lost.

Once in I was allowed to take the bikes on. TV box was empty.
So after a few days wait to get the legal paper work passing the items over to me. I sold them on.
A nice bit of Curry money was now mine.

Made some small brackets to hold the LED light panels in place till we work out what the ceiling in the garage will be finished with and i have to say i am very happy with the lighting compared to all the strip lights we used to have and they use a lot less power, I also got a tap that heats the water for the cabin that only had cold water, It cost £30 and just needs power and a water feed, It is quite a treat in this weather to not have frozen hands.

I got them through the BIL at his place in Oldbury but i presume they are all the same 600 x 600 LED panel lights, as a guide i think i paid £20 is each with a transformerDo you have a link to the led lights?? They look great nd may need to fit a couple in my garage
The 2 adult mountain bikes both look specialised (one fsr enduro and the other rockhopper/hardrock)
Both cracking bikes if they are.
Yes; I've been looking for some ideas to stealif using propane then a cheap way to get it hotter is V in a couple of psi of compressed air....makes a massive difference to the flame temps![]()
yep the same principle as when they burn old road markings off the tarmac...propane and compressed air. ive been playing with this idea for many years now as i was trying to build and complete a roofing torch that could dry a flat roof in a fraction of the time and use much less gas, ive pretty much almost finished it but looking at your vid has gave me a better idea for the torch head that i have nowYes; I've been looking for some ideas to steal
This one can be scaled down a bit.
Went back to Halfords last week with a dead battery (5 months old)..young spotty faced kid put his magic box across it and said "perfect" and gave me a printout from same machine..showing 315 ampsI went and spent the £25 voucher from work on a SIP fireball heater at Halfords, it's smaller than I expected but it only cost me a fiver. Got it home , unpacked and plugged it and nothing, its as dead as the proverbialSo it's back to halfords in the morning to see what their returns policy is like.
You could but it would be very hardWent back to Halfords last week with a dead battery (5 months old)..young spotty faced kid put his magic box across it and said "perfect" and gave me a printout from same machine..showing 315 ampsi asked to see the manager and asked him why my 450 amp battery was showing 315 amps "its cold today" he said
...don't accept there bullcrap and insist on an exchange. To finish my tale lets just say another 5 minutes after he told me my battery was down 135 amps but was perfect i was walking out the store with a new battery and warranty and my old one on the counter.Been fine since so as he also said it was not "parasitic draining away through the earth"..you could not make it up
