nice job and nice doors but i find them a little weak in the middle to low area on those doors

great stout hinges kinder let down by the door frames in my opinion i just dont think there strong enough for those that may ram them

im looking forward to seeing how these panel out when your finished

If they are rammed i don't think there is much i can do, But at some point the drive is going to have a gate to stop access to the drive, most of the time we have cars in the way.

Yesterday I had to leave site and leave the job un finished. Customer request, so another return visit is needed.
But due to very heavy traffic I took a detour.

I found a second hand shop I did not know about.
Well, I had to go in.

Lots of interesting stuff, a smuttering of tools, Nic Nacs by the ton.

What did I get?
I left a blue folding money.



A Box, a silver thing and a box wood rule.

The Silver item is ESP hip flask with a nice Celtic knot wood design. More images later. It was "acquired" by Mini Me as soon as it was shown off.

A 1950's chrome over brass Icing set.

I believe that is what it is. Wonerfully complicated Singer add on.

Never used one, but everyone with a Singer sewing machine of any age, has a box of weird shaped metal things. Most of which have never, ever been used in anger.

Prefer to use my 1980’s computerised New Home Memory Craft machine. Lots if buttons, and switches to play with.

I got a load a while back in a nice Bakelite-y style green Singer box. I've also got a Singer tin, somewhere... Anyway, I wanted to see what they look like working - very cool indeed! The button hole attachment is by far the best, you can load in an ally 'blank' pattern and it performs to the shape loaded. All mechanical, miniature masterpieces and rugged as hell
