Pick up, guess and make an offer.

I chose one, had 4 to chose from.
This one made a decent "rattle noise".
The moneis raised went to:
Guide dogs for the Blind.
Air Ambulance.
Life Boat fund.

Beer can, nearly empty for scale.
Pruning sheers, slip jaw pliers, cheep crimpers, adjustable spanner, 5 torches and Chubb lock.

The crimpers are cheep and shot, but.
They yielded a decent set of grips for Mini Me set. She uses hers to sheer of Brass etc. screws, not crimping.

The Chubb lock is old, but original keys.
The torches all work, but 2 do need the batteries removed and contacts cleaned.

I don't think so, otherwise I wouldn't have bought a second home here from half way across the world. Love it here, clean air, pure water, and real whipped cream in your bakery goods; unlike across the pond. Aahhh, real cream Donuts. I can almost feel my arteries hardening.

Guide Dogs for the Blind, my favourite charity. I went through a spell of blindness for about five months back when I was 40 years old, worst feeling ever, a living nightmare. I had the means and came very close to topping myself as you call it over here. They got the infection under control and gradually I regained vision. I've appreciated every day since over the last 24 years.

Each of those charities I will give freely, I have need to use them all.

But I like the fact they don't chug for money and they show of the good work they do.
Also, not PC, I know. They are for the UK.

No proper Hedgepig fleas. My work mates dog had been rolling one arounf the garden yesterday. I felt one on the back of my neck as soon as stood up from playing with him this afternoon. Managed to flick it on the the welding table and flattened with a BFH. Soon to be followed by 3 in my socks. Looked at the dog and was crawling with the little darlings

Depends on the grade, some of the softer grades and it is almost impossible to turn without some sort of coolant, other harder grades just chip away nicely if you get the feeds and speeds right.

Is there any way to determine the grade? I doubt there is for the home shop hobbyist, but this worked superbly at any rate, I just used a piece of HSS I had ground, actually for steel but it worked superbly on this aluminium.

A nice sharp edged positive rake is usually a good tool for Aluminium so HSS lends itself well to that.

That might do it.
The reason? To try and make the best out of the horrible audio quality of speech radio, as she is transmitted.
None of these were new, of course, and I've spent far less than I'd thought I might need to. There's a load of decent-enough
home-studio audio gear around cheap as chips these days.

The Ali was free, unfortunately the V8 brake conversion was a bit more spendy

I believe my Grandad bought it new, lent it to my cousin a few years ago before he became a mechanic but being imperial, he never really used it so it hasn't been touched for a while.


The speed brace would appear to be a little crooked and the ratchet is atrocious (probably about 36 clicks per rev and very loose) but the sockets are all lovely and will see plenty of use in the garage.

Did a bit of skip diving and got this lot layed it out 5 1/2 sheets 75 mm so going to insulate under dining room floor thats about £175 to buy and also go a stack of floor boards to keep the log burner going in the winter

I’d make sure you get them laid flat, on a well compacted sub-base. You dont want any voids or gaps. And dont scrimp on depth of concrete, otherwise you may find it cracks.

Other than that, top skip diving
