Nice haul, I use foam like that for prop making for my local am Dram group
Yesterday i acquired a scrap Thermal Dynamics Drag gun plasma cutter, 110 volt job. Much to my surprise it powered up & the compressor runs but wont light an arc, was dirty inside so its been blown out with air. I suspect a broken wire in the torch cable So will check it out. Fingers crossed its nothing major!

That chipper/vac looks as if it might have potential. As does the engine in the mower alongside....

Picture heavy warning.
Well, what a day yesterday. One of the best days I had for getting my mitts on stuff.
Through Men In Shed we were asked to clean up some abandoned allotments. The last tenants had bean contacted and those who could had removed what was theirs. The people who now own the land asked MIS if there was anything of use to us. If so take what we needed, or could use.
Most was junk or to badly damaged to be considered to be of use, so as a group we skipped it for them.
They had 3 lorry loader skips on site and 1 chemical skip.
What did we get?

MIS got
2 trailer load of garden tools, a few water buts, concrete fence post, usable wood for our projects.
A good selection of hand tools and a few plants salvaged from the old allotments.
My haul.
3.2 tones of fire wood, now at Norberts house, for a small token of ££££.

2 wheel borrows, well there was 4. But these 2 were the ones worth saving.
Garden Vac, complete. Yes it does fire up. But smokes badly. I hope it was some oil in the bore from when it was transported home.
Suffolk Punch lawn mower, yes I have the grass box. Clutch is seized. But should be simple enough to sort.
A router, does work. But the bit holder is murder tight. It will be cleaned up and donated to MIS.
Air compressor, fires up, cuts out. That's all I did to it.
Honda dispel engine. It was attached to a wheelbarrow fame. But it use is unknown. The frame was skipped. I have not tried to fire it up, yet.
Mountfield lawn mower. The engine runs, but the fixings for the handles are, at present, cable ties and rope.
Bucket of cable and stuff.
A full box of 2012 beer glass's.
2 step ladders.

@The_Yellow_Ardvark Those garden vacs can be worth quite a bit. The one I'm familiar with is the Billy Goat [American?] and it can be converted also into a blower.
Worth 'refurbishing' yours and selling on, unless you have a personal use/garden for it.

looking at that the lever is the dead man switch you need to pull it before trying to start

you know your stuff but just to try to help out clean carb (carb cleaner) should be good enought and clean the jets these are normaly blocked if not used for a while and pull should start if not pull the extra cable off the coil this is the kill wire if there is any problem with this it will not start
if still not starting try fuel in the bore cheak the lever on the lever there is normaly a choke setting pull the lever to this and take off the air filter cover to see if its closing off the air should be only 2 small holes letting the air in if the lever is fully closed if not ajust the cable normaly done by 1 screw and move it back or forward so the lever in the choke position has the flap fully closed and cheak the spark plug even if it sparks when out of the mower they still can not spark when under compression (dont ask me how i know )
pretty much if does not start after this it will need parts normaly the coil is gone wrong or the fly wheel has snaped the key so its not fireing at the right time
ps if you need the carb sonic cleaned i can do that for you one day when you passing as long as we can arange a time/day i only got a very small sonic cleaner but works well on mower/stimmer carbs

The Lawn Vac / blower was smoking, blue smoke. So oil.
The engine was transported badly, guilty as charged, so some sump oil was in the bore.
But it does need some TLC.
The Suffolk Punch engine runs, but there is a fuel leak on the carb. The clutch is not seized. But rear roller is.
No news on the Honda diesel engine.
The Mountfield is a pile of ..........

Due to a few things going on at home, I missed the car boot today.
But my friend who "boots" with me went. She said it was a low key event today. weather I think put people off.
But she did buy me this lot.
A good book, but seams to be very American based in the wording and the power plugs on the leads in the pictures.

I always ‘rob’ potential stuff like those knobs. Office chairs are a good source of them, and the castor wheels
