Today I found (near some communal bins) a Cambridge Audio AV amp and a ryobi 18v angle drill.
The AV amp looks quite old (no hdmi) but once it's had a week in the airing cupboard will make an awesome garage radio, if it works that is and if not the toroidal looks nice, the angle drill is one of those "nice to have" tools, especially if I can make my Dewalt batteries fit

Tuesday while collecting some free oil from a golf club I was asked if I wanted to take some scrap looked and itwas stainless so said yes and you can have those as well, 2 off 6ft x 1ft shelves with brackets 1 x 8ft double counter top shelve unit and a table all stainless

Really genuinely a lovely curry though. You put the hard-boiled eggs on top at the end so then don't go to mush when you're cooking.

Back to acquisitions, I took some test gear to the measurement lab to be sent out for calibration, the guy was having a clear out and asked if I wanted a couple of unused Carver clamps, apparently they were not as good as cheap G clamps for holding things on the measuring tables

There's a soap dispenser compaies wharehouse near me called Gojo, they had a skip full, and I mean full of liquid soap packs, from a delivery that was leaking, they binned the whole lot, that lasted me a couple of years, showers, handwash, washing windows, bikes, boats, and small pets. Bright pink, and smelt horrible though.

Gojo make a gritty orange smelling soap, it's excellent for greasy workshop hands, the smell is quite pleasant too. Get some.
