Tap the arbour not the body of the tapmatic with a plastic mallet and rotate , took about 20 blows and it popped out , that's the advice from tapmatic ukHow difficult was the arbour to remove?
R8 arbour is easy to remove because there's something to push on .How difficult was the arbour to remove?
Of course. Is that a good thing?
The other day I acquired a box of 7pin trailer plugs/sockets, get through these things at a hell of a rate.

So how does that work then? There's a collection of tool bits on aresebook, had one of these in...Here's the ready to tap Tapmatic , all the relevant bits fitted, cant wait to give it a spin View attachment 492714View attachment 492714View attachment 492715
How do they managed to get knacked up? Something your blokes do, I assume?
Hmm, must be a pain swapping them. The plugs dont get pushed in properly or sometimes not at all, a fifty mile drag down the road later they are gone. Sockets get jack kniffed into, backed into when aligning/hitching trailers and reversed into piles of hardcore or timber.

Sounds like it's best to treat them as a consumable in your line of work
Would it be worth looking at fitting a downstream plug/socket arrangement on your vehicles and trailers?, you could have ready made "consumable" plugs/sockets on a fly lead that could be swapped quickly instead of having to re-wire every time.
Mrs Robo's horse trailer had a socket on the A frame and curly cord with a plug on each end, pic to give you the idea as you would need to mount yours somewhere more protected.
Zone 1 (Hazardous area) use then. Petrochem, methane digesters etc..
It works as you drive the tap in there are a series of clutches , help to save the tap from breaking , when you lift the handle it reverses the tap out automatically it's very quick and simple to useSo how does that work then? There's a collection of tool bits on aresebook, had one of these in...
