I used to save my pocket money to buy railway modeller in the 60's and read them cover to cover a few times.A post popped up offering some model railway magazines on my local FB reuse group, so I asked for them, and got them. The photo showed a wheelie bin with these magazines in them, and I intended to ask whether the bin was full. When I got there, it turned out that the answer would have been "yes, and the other two are as well". As they were only around the corner the lady offering them (who was clearing out a relative's house) said she'd bring them to me, which was handy as it would have been two car loads in my car. Now I have a load of model railway magazines, which I often like to read through in case I ever do anything about building a new layout to use all the track I've been gathering from car boot sales for years.
And yes, I was talking about trying to clear stuff out at home, as I've got far too much stuff. I did take ten or eleven books to the charity shop today, so I've made a start, it's just a pity I set myself back so far. And will I ever read them?
