Yep. Had to damage the existing for prune in lapping wheel slightly to get it off. It had rusted slightly to the shaft. It’s pressed on…or at least on my one it was.
Some years ago I was checking progress on machining of a 15 tonne fabrication in sub-contract place somewhere in an old mill Lancashire - got a bit of a tour of the place - one of the motors on a mill was poking up into a hole in the ceiling . . . a little while later, in the office upstairs, walked past an upside down waste bit . . . yep, under it was the motor . . .Thought I'd have a couple of inches spare and I was right. Can't see it coming off the pallet anytime soon so it remains closer to the roof than needs be. It was squeeky bum time watching it descend on the tail lift but the delivery driver did a good job.
I new you'd react to that , I was expecting something a little more comical thoughLike the name you've given that camera.![]()
Want to get a diamond wheel for it. It's currently got a wheel for lapping
That's what I referred to when I said only one review, negative.
However, have you ever read Amazon reviews in general? There are some truly "special" folk out there. (I'm being extremely polite).
I got a cutie little bench top tool and cutter grinder. There's no markings on it but it's clearly modelled on the Union.

Got a small stack of accessories but I know I missed some. Took some finding to search this little lot out.

Expect incoming restoration thread soon.

Looking forward to the restoration thread as I have one of those and need to read the manual to see what it is capable of.
Whoops..

(Yes, one of them is apparently a gay spanner, according to a colleague.)
I keep thinking about the air jacks,I have a monster trolley jack but need a replacement for my smaller jack. What are they like? Where were they from? Were they a good price? Cheers Al
Nice little compressor, runs beautifully. Even a decent spare pump with it.
Need to get some hoses and fittings.
PCL still the go to for tyre inflators? See they've got a MK4 out now.

Does yours have the square front pillar on the base casting like mine, or rounded like all the others I can find pics of?
I’ve bought a few PCL bits here of late, seem to be best on price and delivery:
