All I aquired today was a twisted ankle and a slightly bloody lump just above that on my shin.
I had ahem, a small auto-stability moment while out on the MTB, managed to pound my heel into the hardpack trail while slamming a pinned pedal into myself.

Being serious for a change, several reasons for the single burner, cheaper unit.

1) No idea what the quality & usability is like, until I assemble & try it. Only one review on Amzon, negative, & that was for the double burner unit. I take reviews on there generally with a pinch of salt, however. Better to chance less money on a gamble though, as I couldn't find any other reviews online either.

2) Can't recall ever having had the urge, upto just, to heat any large pieces. Usually smaller stuff, so hopefully should be ample. Can always upgrade later if necessary.

3) Space limitations.

I've bitten myself in the past by going for the larger option. Can't honestly see how it'd be necessary with this though, offhand.

Would love to see a review if you can be arsed got to be more quick and efficient than heating pieces with a torch?
Dude at work had his kids guinea pig cremated , £75, I see a pay back side line for this - could the bigger one fit dead cats?

My reason is generally just due to a quirk of nature. I try not to get multiples, but occasionally, I lose that argument with myself.

That's what I'm thinking too. Plus, the heat & flame are better contained with something like this.

This came with very poor ventilation in the firebox. I had to purchase another regulator because the one supplied was not for calor bottles despite the ad saying they were. The supply tubes were such a bad fit that flames shot out of the entry point and shot up to the plastic pipe. This caused a problem with the flaming that seemed to pop and ignite at will. The whole system was completely unsafe. I had to make some adaptations with fire rope and a new regulator. I complained to the seller and got no answer. I complained to Amazon and that was a waste of time. Foreign call centre working from a script. Basically if you dont want your workshop garage burnt down buy a furness frome someone else. This is my first ever complaint, it will be my last. Amazon only offer a return policy. No way can you get the ting resolved with a replacement correct regulator. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS DEATH TRAP.

That's what I referred to when I said only one review, negative.

However, have you ever read Amazon reviews in general? There are some truly "special" folk out there. (I'm being extremely polite ).

In some cases, it's better to decide yourself. Plus, isn't that what we do on here? If something doesn't work correctly, we fix it else modify it to better suit our needs.

From the quick look I gave it earlier, the construction seems reasonable, so it's a passable base to work from, at worst. Hopefully.

Want to get a diamond wheel for it. It's currently got a wheel for lapping HSS
