I'll let you know once I actually find a practical use for them, but from the little bits I've played with them on, they do seem rather good for their size.
I bought the smallest ones, as I think they'll be a good addition to the mountain bike back pack, although I suspect the next size up would probably be a bit more useful, as the 100mm length doesn't give you that much leverage.
I only bought them, as they were on special offer at an event this weekend.

They're definitely from some kind of training facilities, there was a load of gear like that. There's an entire tent/gazebo full of bulbs, like a 6mx4m gazebo...
I thought that. Then I saw the 300V voltmeter . . . someone would have died in our classes if we'd been using that even to a 1/3rd of it's capability

Voltage doesn't kill it simply provides the means for current to kill you. Hence 30mA RCDs as that's accepted as a safe current to protect humans.I thought that. Then I saw the 300V voltmeter . . . someone would have died in our classes if we'd been using that even to a 1/3rd of it's capability
I know the theory . . . except our old school in 1980 had only just heard of fuses . . .
There were a few visits to the hospital next door!

Today I acquired a pair of carbon fibre crank arms, saving a whopping 67 grams over my old aluminium ones!
Second hand, and I couldn't care less about the weight saving, but they came bolted to this;
Which, for the uninitiated, is a power meter. It measures cadence and torque to calculate power, to monitor exactly how many watts you're putting out. It's probably the only bike upgrade that can actually make you faster. I've wanted one for years.
Unfortunately I don't think my watch (Garmin Forerunner 245) will pair to it, so I might have to upgrade that next.
