I have really been thinking about a pair of these but I await your comments as to usability with interest before committing.

I'll let you know once I actually find a practical use for them, but from the little bits I've played with them on, they do seem rather good for their size.^^^^ me too nearly bought some yesterday!
I have the 125mm black ones but wanted some with smooth jaws. Be interested in your thoughts too!
We used to have gauges like that in school.I should have said, if anyone wants one or more of them gauges drop me a pm.
They're definitely from some kind of training facilities, there was a load of gear like that. There's an entire tent/gazebo full of bulbs, like a 6mx4m gazebo...We used to have gauges like that in school.
I thought that. Then I saw the 300V voltmeter . . . someone would have died in our classes if we'd been using that even to a 1/3rd of it's capabilityWe used to have gauges like that in school.
Voltage doesn't kill it simply provides the means for current to kill you. Hence 30mA RCDs as that's accepted as a safe current to protect humans.I thought that. I know the theory . . . except our old school in 1980 had only just heard of fuses . . .Voltage doesn't kill it simply provides the means for current to kill you. Hence 30mA RCDs as that's accepted as a safe current to protect humans.
