Sadly yes it's shot up here. Also the abattoir in the village closed years ago, the one I was using in Heathfield (12 miles away) no longer does pigs and I have to go to Henfield (44 miles)which costs more in fuel and is bad for the livestock in that they can get stressed.

Same as that, our nearest is 35miles away but its a small place, family run firm and everything is carried out as nice as it can be

There’s an abattoir in Henfield? My dad farmed there until recently (he’s 85 so thought it was time to pack it in) but always took his livestock to Heathfield.

Thanks for that, I've been looking for something similar. I bought a lighter socket adapter last year and modified it to run a flying lead for connection to the loom, but these look a better solution. And they don't have a red LED indicator, like my current one has. I don't like red lights flickering in and out of view as I turn the steering, but can't be bothered stripping it down and changing the LED.

Was after a #404 woodruff cutter, got a selection of Clarkson and Dormer second hand for the price of one unbranded new one:

Wanted some better quality metric taps and dies, got this job lot, mainly presto, some Sherwood:

He also did me a deal on some dwangs, not sure if that is in common usage, what my dad always called them?

I think not a bad buy, £24.99 for the woodruff cutters and £66 for the taps and dies, there was one UNC tap in with them and a set of M12 left hand taps.
