The 2 things today, out of many that went well today.

Power cord was cut, the 300mm left showed open circuits on Live and earth.
The On/off was stuck full off plastic swarf.
A good clean up and it is now hiding with a friend. He has to buy a new blade. I have to get some better 3 core site cable, 2 m is a bit short.
Not a skip, but a cancer charity shop. Not a famous name, but it fills good in the hand and the 2 blades are sharp. Just stowage rust.

And it's in. That's all it is, as more desk/junk juggling needs to be done to get it to it's final resting spot.
However I did put a plug on it, and got this
It's a shiny new CNC lathe, complete with live tooling, and a bar feeder.
It's probably going to be sunday before I get it moved to where it needs to be, and get the bar feeder in and bolted to the floor.
I also need to figure out how you work it...

Just got home to this lot:
A set of 3 led lights with hooks and magnets for use in the van, spare sd cards for my camera, and 2 pairs of magnifying lenses for my dive mask which at first glance are simply awesome! Might finally be able to read my dive computer again

And the icing on this particular cake is the dive computer and high pressure hoses. One of the guys I was diving with at Kinlochbervie t'other week saw my identical computer and waxed lyrical about the one he had and that when they were developed in the 90's they were officially the finest on the market. He said he had a few spares if I was interested, and the only reason he no longer used his was that the manufacturers had concentrated on air computers and had been left behind by those who made ones for mixed gas. I only expected the hoses, but he's thrown in the computer, the soft storage case, and a spare bayonet fitting for good measure
. The battery is completely dead and as it's not user replaceable it needs sending back to Uwatec for replacement and subsequent pressure testing testing, but at something in the region of £70 I can live with that 
.
