It’s not the greatest casting, It does have a few voids but won’t affect its use.

I’m pleased with it.

Will come in quite useful.

Had a steady amble around the bootsale this morn and picked up a Chinese catty and a case for a 8x30 sized binocular! (Got loads of bins missing their cases!!) Grand total of two sovs for the pair!

Also won this half whiskey barrel off fleabay to stick an Acer tree in (It keeps blowing over in the narrow bottomed one that it's in now )

Got it home to find a rotten patch that's very soft, I've half a gallon of wood hardener in the garage so it looks like it'll need a lick of of that slopping on

The tree that'll reside within! The barrel is much wider and more so at the base! The tree is lashed to two bins at the mo, It was lashed to one but they had blown over this morn

Pretty sure i'll have to smash the pot off it as there's nowt but roots inside and it reduces in diameter at the top edge, It's the wrong time of year to do this so I think i'll have to slip pot it, It seems it's dying, Half the tree has already perished (The pic above is a couple of years old!)..

I’ve been selling a lot of equipment off recently actually.

Collecting the mills is the priority now.

What with Spencer and Pressbrake just round the corner, I don’t think there’s a lot that couldn’t be built in our little corner of the world.

First boot fair of the year, I got a few bargains.

Small electric chain saw for £5. Had a short bit of lead on it (like 6" long). A new flex and sharpen the chain and it's raring to go.

A bosch drill again for a fiver. Worked fine except the chuck was knackered. I have an old Dewalt drill that the battery long ago died. Chuck went straight on it.

Same here but it's more autojumbles for me, most of the car boots round here are full of stolen gear, gipsies, and far eastern junk.
Kempton bike jumble is very good for tools, consumables etc.

Sick of shifting aggregate by the barrowfull the 100yds from where it is dropped by the front gate to where i'm pouring concrete at the bottom of the back garden, so i've bought myself this so i can shift the jumbo bags on a pallet.


The fact i'm expecting a 1T pallet of steel plate was also a factor.

£70, delivered, off faceache - which I'm sure i'll get back next yearwhen i'm done with it.

My three jaw chuck turned up today, just need to get @Pete. to make up some jaws

Got a push/pull reo bar bender for making up some cages. Rated at 32mm . had a play with some 25mm bar. Think I am going to get to like this
